Use CD cases to make a cool calendar for your bedroom. Use a white board marker pen to write on the plastic cover so that you don't forget any important dates!
You will need:
CDs no longer being used - check with mom or dad
Pictures from magazines, recycled cards or magazines
Sharp craft scissors

Here's how:
1 |  Remove the cover pictures from the CD case and give it a clean in some warm, soapy water. Dry with a clean cloth. If you have any difficulty in removing the back image, ask mom or dad for help. |
2 |  Arrange the CD cover so that it looks exactly like the one on the left. |
3 |  The various calendar months are slotted into the front section, so that they can easily be removed for a new month. You will find plenty of 2011, 2012 and every new year on the Internet. Search for CD "insert year" calendar templates. |
